AMARILLO, Texas -- Texas authorities have canceled the arrest warrant for the Arizona man who had been suspected of physically and sexually abusing a teenage girl -- allegations that launched last month's raid on an FLDS ranch in Eldorado.
Law enforcement did not find the teenage girl or Barlow at the YFZ Ranch, owned by the polygamous Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The man named in the warrant, Dale E. Barlow, was never arrested and denied knowing the girl. Officials have not located or idenified her.
A spokesman for the Texas Department of Safety said he could not elaborate on why the warrant was canceled.

Good
This finally sounds like a step in the right direction.
warrant revoked
It sounds to me like there is no longer any basis to proceed in this matter, since the warrant which was issued initially that was the motus operendus for the raid is not in force. Another thought that has occurred to me is that the children were forced to undergo thourough medical exams, rape leaves scars, and scars are revealed in thourough medical exams... therefore since there are no arrests when the evidence should already be revealed and yet the allegations continue unabated... all I can think reasonably is that these are false allegations. There is much being said of forced marriages of underaged girls to "old men" my age and yet not a word is ever mentioned about the 2005 change in Texas law precisely to entrap this religious sect. How many of these so-called abusive situations were actually legal at the time they occured? With the passage of time the allegations of abuse just become more and more bizarre and take on a broader scope. Lies always increase in size and detail - this therefore looks like a mountain of lies.
