If we can get Utah to decriminalize poligamy then there is hope for the rest of the nation as well.

I think it is more likely that there will be a challenge to the Supreme Court, much like there was with Lawrence v Texas. Utah is no closer to lessening bigamy from a felony to a misdemeanor than they were years ago.
