Court TV Jami Floyd: Best Defense Prosecution Or Persecution - Her Thoughts on the Trial of polygamist Warren Jeffs

I have viewed Friday's 05-22-09 Banner/Ford & Jamie Floyd's coverage on television; I am a fan of Court TV. A New Jersey State Trooper is accused in a pursuit, running through an intersection after a 'speeder.' Two innocent girls lost their life needlessly.

Before the trial began, my former experience and career in public transportation indicated, that the accident pictures and impact damage spoke a million words. No matter how many professionals testify, including the Prosecutor and Defense attorney...NO WAY TROPPER STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTION...LOOK AT THE DAMAGE!

If this officer followed a 'Smith Rule,' counting 1,2,3...then proceed, even if the girls weren't paying attention passing through that intersection, Tropper would clearly have seen them or something approaching. Should this be the case, his take-off speed wouldn't cause sooooomuch damage. Do you believe by the damage on both vehicles, this Trooper stopped? I don't.

If a man is being charged for being an accomplice to a crime that the alledged criminal himself has not been charged for, I see that as a travesty of justice.

If a man is guilty of rape but not charged, and a public figure is charged as an accomplice, are we truly "Equal Under the Law?"

I do not see that as being true here.
