What is it worth to you?

I have been a member of the community here for quite a while. I am a father with lots of children, a wonderful wife and a new business. I am a happy man. I am not wealthy, but I have never been happier.

A few days ago, I made a donation I could ILL AFFORD. I donated a small sum of money to help defray the costs of running this site. I HAD to do it.

4TheFamily has helped me grow and learn. I started as a member here, like many of you, in search of answers. I needed to understand what was calling me. I needed to understand the path being placed before me. Knowing as little as I did about plural marriage, irregardless of faith, I was headed down a rocky road with blinders on. Other sites promising answers and resources for money ended up disappointing me.

The 4TheFamily community here is where most of my learning has taken place. There is no charge for this. It is a service and resource selflessly given by the owner. That is why I had to donate. I had to do it.

When I have a question and I am looking for an answer on polygamy or issues surrounding it, I come here to 4TheFamily. When I need a polygamy chat place I come to 4TheFamily. 4TheFamily is a place where people can openly speak and learn, without some ‘eccentric’ Administrator filtering the information.

I donated because I felt that it was the right thing to do. This donation WAS NOT SOLICITED. It was MY idea. I want you to know that helping out by defraying costs here is a good thing. It felt good.

No one is promising you anything they cannot deliver here…

I would say this site is the best place for polygamy chat. This site is also the best for open, unbiased dialogue. So far I have never seen any bigotry here on the part of the staff. I had experienced bigotry and hatred at other alledgedly Christian sites. Here, no denominations are promoted and no bigotry is tolerated. Open discussion and exchange of ideas and knowledge is promoted.

Intellectually, it is a breath of fresh air.
