Lo all,
Ive studied the matter of polygamy out, and debated it a few times both online and in person for a few years now. Sometimes it would be nice talk to some like minded people without long explinations ect. Hopefully I can get some good conversations here.

Im under the Christian Polygamist heading, and came there somewhat by my own study. When I was a teen I studied the topic breifly, but gave it up when the argument, but no woman would want it, came up. I left it at that, untill a year after my wedding...

Some women WOULD want it, epsecially my cute little bi. Woa, he, guys can be naieve, I was never one to ogle women myeself, and when my girlfreind later my wife would point them out at the mall and such... Well, anyway, I always have my head in the books too much to care to look, so she does all the looking for me.

It's a further strech for some to agree not only to polygyny, but to let her have her fun when the time comes too. After her prefrences where clear I spent a good year studying the mater of homosexuality, and then polygyny. It seems to me that there are very specific prohibitions in the bible, and even the OT prohibition is specifically male male, but I suppose that deatail is for another conversation.

For a breif rant, I get really irritated when I hear that polygyny is a womens right issue... Yeah, I'm being oppressive, yeah, no woman would ever want it. She herself says that even if she wasnt wanting more, the extra companionship would be nice, but I dont know if her oppinion would be any less bias than a guys. I spent a year trying to prove why we shouldn't, anyone blanketing saying all guys would gaurnteed would want it and would force women into it is, well blanketing. Not saying that men dont force women into things like that, thats bad, but it's not really a something I can weigh in on, I didnt even initiate the aim for another wife.

That said, the study itself was brually one sided. Finding ANY argument that passes the logic test against Christian polygamy was hard, the closest thing is the legal argument, and that one any speeder breaks. It's so taboo, I cant stand Tretullian, his monastic comprimises, his anti marridge stance... He even mass demonizes (literaly, he says they are demon infested) people who attend sporting events, ugh, and we have 1800 years of dogma from this guy!

Anyway, we stand mono in action now, but poly free in principle. Its up to her to find a girl, so prayer dictates anyway. We hope the wait isnt long, but its a tall order. Riches the inheiritence of the father, but a good wife the gift of God.
