Worst Argument Nominations.

Well, there are a LOT of doosies on the mono side of the debate. To me the most annoying is the God created one of each gender one. I would like to call it the worst, but honestly it's probably the best they have. Obviously its refutable pretty easily (I mean, I don't do ANYTHING just because people did it in the past, and gender is not 1:1 anymore by any means) but I can almost understand how someone who didn't take introspective to their beliefs could honestly believe in mono based on this.

But that being the best, well, the worst are really bad. I am interested to have people nominate the mono arguments that they find to be the most irrational or most heretical.

For me, I nominate the Two made one flesh argument. I mean this NEVER held sanity with me. I have a kind of meticulous mathematical mind and I often feel that the fact that 1=1 is not something I should have to explain to anyone but the most deviant psychotic. But they say, the scripture says two become one and thus polygamy is wrong. Buy if two become one, you have one. That one may be a union rather than an individual, but its still one. No reason that one cant unify in the same way the individual one can. I can't see this mono argument anything more than an act of sheer willful ignorance.

Well, that's my vote. Please Opine if you feel the urge.
