People of color

A buddy of mine from West Africa comes from a tribe that is ruled by Paramount Chieftains. These leaders have as many as 100 wives or more. Many practice Christianity while practicing tribalist religion as well.

Nobody in the tribe finds polygyny unacceptible. I guess it all depends on the cultural background.

I saw a presentation on TV many years ago where black Americans from isolated regions in the Carolinas do practice polygyny. Perhaps some study should do done on these people so that the practice may be re-introduced to the rest of our black brethren in the US.

In China, polygyny was practiced as well. Can't say the same for Latin America. But it is time to re-introduce the truth and the wholesomeness of this divine gift.

In response to the comment made about out West....I would have thought that it would be easier to practice polygamy out west...after all that is where most of the "action" I perceive takes place...

As far as women of color accepting a sister wife....I do think it would be more difficult....many of my colored friends say colored women are in general are more difficult to deal with....they date or have children with white women because of that reason....I am sure if you look hard enough though there will be some colored women who would accept a sister wife..

In the west its hard for everyone. A lot of people here's success stories have at least 5 years between looking for a second and finding the right person, and some are much longer. My wife and I are almost at 3 years of searching, we've gotten close to a few girls, but no one who is just right yet.

I dunno, someone who lives down south in the U.S. might have more insight to problems peculiar to being colored, but I got to point out that it's among the biggest social taboo's for everyone in the west.
