An email I have received

Hello Friends:

I have received an email after months of silence from someone in Brazil who has corresponded with me over the past year approximately trying to get me involved in a project which he claims to have. These emails have been previously all written in the language of Brazil (portuguese) and I had them translated by a friend who is from Brazil. I have had a gut suspicion there is some sort of a scam here and my translator friend said there are certain anomalies in his use of the language that would not happen if he were a native speaker as he has claimed. Since this latest email makes reference to Pink Sneakers, which some of us have had encounters with in the chat room, I post it here entirely so we all may be informed of this activity whatever it is.

suspicious yes, but...

This does seem suspicious but there is no other proof of it so best it be dropped. From what I have been made to understand the man has denied doing anything like that and a benefit of a doubt does exist. That being said, this is still the internet and what goes on goes on with the internet, so caution is always advisable. At least it seems to me.

Ignore it, it reeks of a bob

Ignore it, it reeks of a bob scam.
