MidWest fellowship

Ever since I have come to understand and accept the 1886 revelation of John Taylor going to church has lost a lot of meaning for me. I still make feeble attempts to go but when I do I feel that I have to be careful on how I take part. Going to a sacrament meeting now is somewhat like what going to Catholic mass with my parents was after I had been to the temple. I would really appreciate a group or families that I could occationaly meet with to worship and fellowship. Are there any groups or families in the Midwest that practice Mormon polygamy?

Found some

Well The search was productive. I appreciate the help that various people here gave me. It turned into a well I know this person who knows this person who knows this person type of venture. I have meet with some Mormon fundamentalists whom have gathered a few hours from my home. I look forward to retuning and meeting with them many more times. My search has helped me to learn and understand more about the fullness of the gospel and I am pleased and thankful that the Lord has lead me the way he has.It is very apparent to me that with out the Lord's guidance I would not have been able to meet these saints; or for that matter even have gained a desire to learn and understand the fundamental aspects of the gospel.

Meetings

John

I can sure understand the feeling there. Even in the west where there are lots of groups in can be a challenge to find people to get together with. It is tough, after being active LDS, to just stop but at times, tougher to keep going.

I'll keep my ears open for any groups your way, but as of yet, don't know of any.

Best wishes!

I am looking too

If there are any in midwest, I would be interested in visiting.

hi John

There are groups in the midwest, for the most part they are very private people and with good reason. As I am sure you know your history I will not go into the reasons. Just to say here, there are some and they are not easily approached by strangers. I wish you much success in your endeavors. A suggestion perhaps is that maybe you can find such a group to which you are in agreement somewhere and join them it is easier and more likely to succeed in what you are wanting to accomplish than to start one on your own and with no other families.

Just some thoughts and a sincere attempt to answer your honest question which no one addressed. Peace to the brethren.
