Understanding Lawful Polygyny In Anglo-Saxon Countries

This is a very brief discourse by me due to time limitations, but it should be understood that within Anglo-Saxon countries, Common Law Juristiction allows for the practice of polygyny without the need for Civil licence. In some Anglo-Saxon countries, Common Law marriage has the same force of Law as Civil marraige. Strangely enough, even though Common Law marriage is officially denied, especially if you look to online references such as Wikipedia, which state quite clearly that Common Law marriage has ended. Yet, this statement, like many others is wholely untrue. All courts in some Anglo-Saxon countries and some States will and still do recognise Common Law marriage, especially within the United Kingdom. I can state this from personal experience, as my Common Law marraige was recognised by the Judge, a few years ago with the same force of Law as any Civil marriage. Technically then, one could have a Civil marriage with one wife and a Common Law marriage with another wife. You have to check what the Common Law status on marriage is for your Country or State. Having said thus, there is no impediment on how many wives you can have under Common Law anyway, as Common Law does not forbid it! Therefore, why are you worrying about having a State sanctioned, marriage "License/Contract", when Common Law in some countries/states cannot be refuted?

In Utah

In Utah "purporting" to be married is the same as being married, and therefore, the State can use the Common Law marriage idea to prosecute plural marriages. Twisted, isn't it?

Some US States.

I agree wholehearted on that. Unfortunately, in some US States or Counties, its seems as though there was a massive, concerted effort to destroy any notion of plural marriage, and so, for anyone to use "any form of language", "however subtle", which suggests a marriage to someone else outside of the State sanctioned marriage "Contract", can get one prosecuted and imprisoned.

In fact, there is some much contradiction and ambiguity in some State or County laws, the Judge or Magistrate has no alternative than to prosecute, even though this may contradict any prior laws or Statutes of Religious freedom and expression. Especially, within the same legislation or County/State jurisdiction.

So, there you have it. The law makes it quite clear, that if a man acts irresponsibly and sires many illegitimate children, and makes them all dependant on the State, which many do and have done, the law is at peace, but when a man wants to take responsibility for those women with whom he has had eloped with, and the children he has sired, HE WILL BE PROSECUTED AND IMPRISONED! His children, in some instances, will be made wards of the State.

True

Very True! A man can have as many girl friends as he wishes, just don't marry them or be responsible. How ironic so many of our national leaders now, and in the past, have bought into this idea.

What We Must Not Forget!

What we must not forget about this and your last comments on our Leaders buying into this false concept, is that the Western world refuses to recognise what the rest of the world has always accepted, which is:

1. There are always 4 women to every man. Consistently so in every country in the world, and that it is impossible for every woman to be married on the West's monogamy model.

2. In every Western country, the native populations are DECLINING! So much so, that border controls for most Western nations have been dropped, just so that they can have enough skilled workers to maintain the economy. If we look at the birth rate of Muslim minorities in Western nations, we consistently find that they are the fastest growing minority than any other majority race.

3. That Monogamy has never worked! Throughout the Western World's history, especially if one looks as far back 400 years, the practice of Monogamy has always been synonymous with, extra-marital affairs and divorce, proliferate prostitution, poverty and illegitimate children.

As we know, the divorce rate in the Western world is consistently at 44% OF ALL marriages. Yet our sexual behavior and practice has always been in contradiction with the values we profess to hold. The divorce rate amongst Western countries, when examined, is nothing short of astonishing, because our hypocrisy and denial of what is obvious can be readily seen.

These things should be understood from the aspect that polygamy does allow families to become far more affluent, when put in contrast with monogamous relationships, because polygamy can and does create wealth, social union and family cohesiveness. This is because polygamy allows more women within polygamous families to go to work, whilst their children are still being cared for. It also provides the medium for women to work together to achieve constructive objectives, rather than what we have at this present moment, where in Western monogamous societies, women compete against each other for both men and for their resources.

In reflection, we only have to look at the dire sexual reputation of married couples in France, to know that Monogamy does not work. Or should we consider all the Western countries which are now legalising prostitution? Germany is such a good, recent example of it, especially when we look at the huge taxation potential a Sovereign state can receive from prostitution, as with Greece, which can earn as much as 5 Billion Euros in one year!

So then, what incentive can any Western government have in legalising polygamy when it stands to lose so much in tax revenues and/or much income from the tourist industry?

If one looks at the number of women who outnumber men in church, we find that men are significantly beaten by as much as 4 to 1. And, it is quiet natural for religious women to seek men outside of their church just in hope to have a relationship.

Therefore, we must conclude that polygamy is not only an imperative political/legislative issue in Western countries, but it has much wider implications concerning the moral values of Western governments, against the moral and economic benefits of polygamy. We only have to look at the growing and massive trade in Sex trafficking in most Western countries - whether it is of women or children, to see this for ourselves.

If you are one those who are discerning, then you would know that prostitution is a critical part of Western Society's economy and culture, and it should be understood that the legalisation of polygyny would severely affect the Sex Industry, as there would be a significant impact on the need for single women to work at night, either to keep themselves, their homes or their children.

Should anyone have any doubts concerning this, just do some research into the growth of the Sex Trade in Western nations.

Is it not interesting that many, many prostitutes, regardless of how demoralised they are concerning their severe exploitation by men, still want to get married and to be a simple housewife?

Herein then, if one is well researched in these matters, we note that Western Societies have no incentive, but to allow the continued degradation and immoralisation of their own societies, especially for short term tax gains, economic growth, and political benefits. This can be readily seen through the huge growth of all forms of immorality since the 60's.
