Assistance please

Hi my name is Shaun

I am married to 2 beautiful ladies; we have been together as a family for a relatively short time about 2 years in all. We consider ourselves Christians but the knowledge base is limited to us in how to best conduct a polygamy relationship and as such I tend to blunder my way through issues with no real direction by those of many years experience or who have a structured system.

I am humbly requesting assistance to the every day issues that I just can’t get a grasp of how to handle in a balanced way especially when it comes to opposing wills, jelousy, equality and opposing desires. I would love to make new friends and hear more from those with some experience behind them.

Please help a sincer family

Kind regards
Shaun

Family Government

Under the polygamy information section on the top link is a file called "27 Rules". This was written in the late 1800's by Orson Pratt and is Mormon based. That said, there are some good ideas in there as far as how to deal with any plural family. While some of the ideas were more for the time they lived in, others are timeless helps.

As far as opposing wills and jealousy, a family is a team. People can decide when to give in and when to not. People can decide to be jealous and when to not. Just because these feeling occur does not mean a person should "hug" the feeling and keep in close inside and let it grow. Some feelings are just not good, even if they are your feelings.

Keep in mind, there is no equal. No two people are equal and no two relationships are equal. Find the best in each, be fair, and pray a lot!

thanks for the contact

Thanks for the contact it is most appreciated.

Polygamy in Australia is very remote and as such we are totally isolated from supportive relationships, we have been ridiculed and rejected by so called friends and family this has applied even more stress to our marriage.

We are looking for friends in correspondence. I know the girls would love to chat to other girls in the same "big love"

Kindest regards
Shaun

Godspeed Shaun

I know down in Australia it is probably more ridiculed.

I hope to be poly soon. Studying it.

I see no sin in polygyny and since it is Christian I support it.

Good luck to you and your wives.

Charles

hello

Shaun,

I am glad to meet you and hope we can be friends, help each other, and support each other. A little about me I have three wives from Asian countries one from China, Vietnam, and Korea and another wife from Uganda Africa. If there is anything I can help you with or if you just want someone to talk to that's fine. I use to live in Australia in fact that is where I met my Chinese wife, we lived in Windsor in Brisbane. I understand the ridicule friends can give you, I personally am a business man that owns several companies and I do not share with my business colleges or personal friends about my polygamous relationships. If someone wants to ask me something then I will speak freely otherwise I keep things on a strictly personal level. I find the trouble is based on worldview, I have a few close friends that I have told about my polygamy, but because they want to keep their monogamous worldview have chosen not to communicate with me anylonger. Most people I find if they don't understand something they will just stay away from it. But I am happy to meet you and if one of your wives would like to talk to one of mine that's fine.
