I love this recipe because it feeds a crowd for under $4.00! It is so quick and easy to make too.

We tried this recipe today

I'm glad you liked it! I did forget to tell everyone that we usually serve it with vanilla ice cream...it IS rich...like everything else in the south. :D
Guess we will have to try it
Guess we will have to try it with the ice cream. Sounds like it would be good that way.

Jalenpeno Rollups for Dudes!
Wendy, Thanks! Here is another recipe for company! I usually have my brothers and Dad and their wives over for a Father's Day barbecue and the guys LOVE to munch on these while the meat is cooking!
Jalepeno Rollups
1 pkg. of large flour tortillas
2 (8 oz)pkgs. of cream cheese.
1 sm. (4oz) can of chopped black olives (drained)
I jar of sliced jalapenos
1 jar of picante sauce
On a plate mash the cream cheese with the can of black olives. Dice the jalapenos and add them in (not a full jar...just as many as you want to add some kick...I usually dice up about 10 slices). Lay tortilla out flat and cover entire surface with cream cheese mixture. Roll the tortilla up tightly. Do this until all the tortillas are used up. Refrigerate rolled up tortillas in the bag the tortillas came in. When it's time to serve, slice the rolls into 1/2 inch. pieces and serve with a bowl of picante sauce for dipping.
Sounds delicious except for
Sounds delicious except for the black olives. We went to a restaurant and they put black olives in the taco omelette I ordered and yuck ruined the whole thing. But then again what do I know.

No Problemo!
I understand! The good news about this recipe is that you can substitute whatever you do like! Try diced ham or pimentos.
Hugs,
Heather
