HBO's Big Love returns this Sunday for the fifth, and final, season.

Hopefully the writers turned a bit away from the cartoonish nature the characters developed last year .

Rumors have it that this is going to be a rough season for them all emotionally - Barb drinks wine (gasp) Nicki changes her style to provide a better model for her daughter and who knows where Marge will end up!

With Bill newly elected to a state senate seat, this season promises to be entertaining, if not anywhere close to reality.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that Christopher J. Hanke will be recurring in this next season of BIG LOVE. He is also set to guest star in an upcoming episode of BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Last year Christopher starred in CBS series THREE RIVERS. Previous to that, he was part of the critically acclaimed casts of HAIR and CRY-BABY on Broadway.

Playing a 'by-the-book Mormon' intern in the State Senate, Hanke says "To be a part of a show that I've been obsessed with, is the coolest thing for me as an actor.....I'm like, there's Bill Paxton, look, there's Jeanne Tripplehorn, wait-- I'm actually acting with them!"

I don't know if I've posted this before but the writers have a blog up for Margene, the youngest wife of Big Love's, Bill Henrickson.

I googled "big love forums" and ended up here, but it doesnt seem a lot of discussion about the show is recent. :(

Hbo changed their website and the forums there are awful; hard to navigate, eye straining colors, completey unorganized, etc.
Which is why I wa slooking for a new place to discuss.

Over the weekend, the promo video from HBO's Big Love hit the web and we shared it here... wondering if that's all there is? The video was sort of metaphorical, but not very substantive. Today, however, there's some Big Love scoop to report, plus a new poster from HBO (right).
