Homeschooling

Decided to Homeschool

Just recently we have decided to home-school our two children. We are going with Class (http://www.homeschools.org/index.html) Looks to be just what we are looking for. They are a ministry through a church so they offer very low prices. They send you all the curriculum you will need and they help you out with the laws in your state and send you report cards. If you are looking into Christian homeschooling this might be for you too.

Educational Materials...

Wow, a union may shut down the charter public virtual school our kids go to. We will NOT place our children in a regular public school, so...

Where are some good and affordable sources of educational homeschooling material for children who are grade school level?

Thanks in Advance.

A Utah woman who was ordered by a juvenile court judge to enroll her children in public school or lose custody of them has abandoned her home, furniture and other possessions to escape the order.

Denise Mafi, a nine-year veteran of homeschooling, has confirmed to WND she and her children packed up their essentials – clothes and homeschool materials – and fled Utah over the weekend, spending more than 50 hours on a bus trip to an undisclosed part of the country.

Always me...lol

I guess I have more time than others, somehow. I am interested in homeschooling the kids, but I am afraid they won't get the socializing they need for healthy growth. Plus I think it may be expensive. Any help?
