hello all have been looking in to the poly life for some time it started before any shows came out but has gotten me and the hubby more interested seeing how they are run we have talked and talked and talked we have been looking now for a while and even talked to a few people but we have not found our special somone yet but just wanting to get to know more people and build friendships with as well we are from ontario canada and we were wondering if there were any groups areund us we could visit and talk and maybe see some day to day living to understand more thanks for any help we can get ted and crystal

When you post an ad on this site you can actually put your email address like it actually is not try to fool system by posting it by spelling out dot com. example someone at yahoo dot com you can actually post as someone@yahoo.com or any other email. Also it would be nice if you would put something about self in profile. Many complain about getting the emails they get but they dont put anything about self. If you want people to contact you then put something about self. Thank you in advance.

I came across a news story recently:

In this story a women started an online petition against a $5 per month charge for debit cards with Bank of America. Her petition gathered 300,000 signatures causing the bank to remove the charges. She did this on https://www.change.org/.

I am also reminded of Ron Paul's success in gathering a lot of momentum on the internet, and especially in raising campaign funds. More than all other candidates combined when viewing contributions from American military veterans.

Who can forget the stories this summer of violent flash mobs who coordinated on twitter. There are dozens of examples in the USA but the recent riots in London were said to be coordinated in the same way. As were the Muslim uprisings in Egypt.

All of this got me thinking. The internet is a powerful tool. Everyone knows that the internet caused the mainstream media's control over the minds of the masses to start to slip. We also realize that the internet has allowed people to more easily share ideas and information with others. This whole group is a testament of that.
